Bob Lijana
Bob is an experienced subject-matter expert for food safety of RTE foods, prepared meals, pasteurized juices. meats, and seasoning blends. He has worked for large multi-national food companies and with small family-owned food companies. He has over 35 years of broad science and technical expertise, and has held Director-level and VP-level positions in food safety, quality, and operations. Bob has ChE degrees from MIT and Berkeley, and is a Certified Food Scientist and trained food safety auditor.
Bob has worked regularly with USDA and FDA, actively involved with risk management for needs such as allergen control, Listeria control, recalls, and HACCP. He is SQF certified, and has built GFSI-based programs from scratch for many companies. Bob is the Editor-In-Chief at Cultivate SA.
